​Our year-long Management Development - Leadership Program is a unique volunteer opportunity for Management, Senior Professionals and young leaders, in Business and Startups along with Multistakeholders for impact. 

Selected candidates will work with Executive Board around the world. 

Then, as Next Generation Leaders and  part of the program, you will build and lead a team to deliver key components of our long-term strategy.

Perhaps, you will develop excellent leadership and communication skills, and have the opportunity to execute complex projects that can have a transformative impact.

👉 Executive Director, based in Europe
You will turn the long-term vision of as an impact-driven policy incubator into a day-to-day framework and oversee the progress of all our initiatives.

You will be responsible for:
  • Working with the Board of Directors to communicate and execute long-term vision.
  • Working with the Deputy Executive Director and Portfolio Directors to define success for the academic year.
  • Shaping the organization's policy vision with the Policy portfolio and policy experts.
  • Overseeing and assisting the development of portfolios on a daily basis.
  • Networking with external stakeholders to ensure collaborative efforts and the organization's visibility.
  • Being in close contact with the Senior Treasurer and overseeing financial activities.
  • Representing the centre at internal and external events.

👉 Deputy Executive Director, based in USA 
You will assist the Executive Director in turning the long-term vision of  into a reality. You will develop the key tasks, oversee large and complex projects, and be the main contact points for all the portfolios. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills.

You will be responsible for:
  • Helping each team plan their tasks on a bi-weekly basis. Check in, troubleshoot, and guide the teams’ execution.
  • Ensuring that each portfolio has the resources, information, and inputs from other teams needed to attain their objectives.
  • Managing internal communication and organizational platforms, especially Slack and Monday.com

👉 Director of Conferences (North America)
You will lead the organization’s flagship conferences in the US. You will work with the Policy portfolio and your own team to develop and deliver the conferences, while maximizing their policy impact. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent agility and organizational skills.

You will be responsible for:
  • Delivering the Fall Policy Workshop, together with the European & Asian Conferences portfolio.
  • Delivering every aspect – from concept to logistics – of the European Student Conference, typically held at Yale University.
  • Working with our Sponsorships and Partnerships portfolios to secure funding and non-financial support for these conferences, including speakers, venues, or attendees.
  • Working with all other portfolios to rally our community around these conferences.

👉 Director of Policy, based in Switzerland
You will play a key role in transforming  into an impact-oriented policy incubator. You will be responsible for shaping the organization’s policy vision, building a network of policy experts to advise us, building up policy skills in our own members, and deepening the organization’s policy impact.


You will be responsible for:
  • Shaping the organization’s policy vision in close cooperation with the Executive Director and policy experts.
  • Ensuring that every aspect of our work is aligned with our policy vision by providing critical guidance to each team as they deliver their projects.
  • Coming up with innovative ideas for policy projects and positioning for the organization to deepen its policy impact.

👉 Director of Conferences (Europe & Asia)
You will lead the organization’s flagship conferences in Europe and Asia. You will work with the Policy portfolio and your own team to develop and deliver the conferences, while maximizing their policy impact. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent agility and organizational skills.

You will be responsible for:

👉 Director of Chapters (North America / Europe & Asia)
You will implement our policy-driven vision across our network of local chapters. You will bring new chapters into the fold, build transatlantic solidarity through collaboration, and facilitate chapter growth. To apply, you must be based in the respective region of your team (i.e. in the US if applying for the North American Directorship).

You will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing your Regional Coordinators, and their management of existing chapters.
  • Overseeing the opening and setting up of new chapters.
  • Spearheading efforts on cross-chapter collaboration.
  • Promoting and facilitating policy work across chapters.
  • Being a direct line between the Leadership Team and chapters.
  • Maintaining database and analysis of key chapter information, including output and qualitative performance.
  • Working to improve resources and targeted help for chapters, including by working with other Portfolios.

👉 Director of Publications:
You will lead a team to share our policy vision with the world through frequent, high-quality publications.

You will be responsible for:
  • Working closely with the Policy team on our policy focus and vision, and reflecting this vision across all our publications.
  • Spearheading the publishing of RETA by helping define the concept, engagement strategy, and delivery of the journal.
  • Leading the delivery of two weekly pieces on Transatlantic Perspectives.
  • Leading a team of editors who will edit pieces for both RETA and TP.
  • Leading a team of writers who will supply pieces for TP.




👉 Director of People and Membership Based in HQ
Your work will contribute to increased satisfaction, enhanced personal and professional growth, and improved retention across our members.

You will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing opportunities for members growth and development for impact.
  • Defining and upholding the organization’s values and work norms to create a cohesive environment.
  • Providing guidance to other Directors when dealing with leadership and organizational challenges.
  • Overseeing opportunities for personal growth and development within the organization and impact.

👉 Director of Sponsorships:
You will create and maintain partnerships with individuals, companies, and institutions that support us financially. This will involve applying for grants and developing relationships with private sector donors, and updating our supporters with the results of our activities.

You will be responsible for:
  • Creating a robust system of applying for grants and contacting potential donors
  • Applying for key annual grants such as the Erasmus+ Grant of the European Commission.
  • Maintaining a database of our existing sponsors.
  • Spearheading fundraising efforts for flagship events.

👉 Director of Public Relations based in Head Office
You will lead a team to design and promote the organization’s brand and presence among our members and target audiences. You will design and supply social media posts to promote the work of our portfolios, and help frame their communications strategies.

You will be responsible for:
  • Being the amplifier of the Leadership Team's work and global projects.
  • Creating a new voice and image of the organization reflecting our unique position of youth policy innovators.
  • Implementing and maintaining an active, policy-relevant social media schedule across all of our platforms.
  • Designing and promoting our Conferences and other important events.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of our website.
  • Assisting our chapters in maintaining professional communications 

👉 Director of Partnerships:
You will lead a team to broaden the organization’s reach to a broader network of stakeholders in academia, policy, and the private sector. As well as managing existing partnerships, this role aims to forge new connections with organizations that have synergies with 

You will be responsible for:
  • Creating a consortium of policy-driven organizations and establishing joint projects.
  • Establishing synergistic partnerships that increase impact and offer exciting opportunities to our members.
  • Finding partners whose activities align with our major outputs (i.e. our publications and conferences).
  • Helping the Conferences portfolios to secure non-financial assistance and speakers.

👉 Director of the Alumni Network: Office in Geneva
You will lead and organize the organization’s extensive Alumni Network, highlighting the achievements of our alumni, and maintain their engagement with our work.


You will be responsible for:
  • Growing an engaged and opportunity-offering alumni network.
  • Organizing Alumni-only and Alumni-led socials, events, and seminars.
  • Engaging Alumni in our organization-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Seeking development opportunities for Alumni.

👉 Senior Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer:
You will work with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to ensure the organization’s financial sustainability.


You will be responsible for:
  • Drafting the global budget and supervising its use.
  • Communicating with all directors in need of funds for their portfolio and executing particular transactions.
  • Being the contractual partner for all partners and sponsors, and being responsible for meeting federal institutions’ demands.
  • Adhering to the US and EU financial regulations established for NGO-type organizations.

👉 Director of People and Culture: Based in United Kingdom
You will make sure our team and work environment remains healthy and productive. Your work will contribute to increased satisfaction, enhanced personal and professional growth, and improved retention across our members.


You will be responsible for:
  • Defining and upholding the organization’s values and work norms to create a cohesive environment.
  • Providing guidance to other Directors when dealing with leadership and organizational challenges.
  • Feeling the “pulse” of the Leadership Team; diagnosing and resolving problems.
  • Ensuring a productive work environment and maintaining high retention rates across our members.
  • Overseeing opportunities for personal growth and development within the organization andimpact.
